It is almost May, which means Mother’s Day and graduations are near. Are you looking for something unique and pretty for the girls in your life? Here are two of my favorite places to shop.
The first fun place to check out is Button Bird Designs. Angela, the artist behind this shop, also has a blog by the same name. I’ve never met her, but I think we’d be good friends.
One time on her blog, she was raising money for Compassions Water for Life Program. If you bought one of her bags, she would donate $10 to the program. Knowing how dear providing clean water to areas without is to me, I picked one out right away. I have to say I had the hardest time choosing, because all of the fabrics were so colorful and fun.
While strolling along her site, she had this pretty thing waiting for me. Woop, into the bag it went! I get compliments every time I wear it. In her Etsy shop you will find colorful bags, jewelry and pillows.
Another of my faves, is The Vintage Pearl. TVP creates hand stamped jewelry out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Wouldn’t this make the perfect gift for Mother’s Day? Of course, I think that my children’s names look pretty awesome! But your mom may want her own kid’s or grandkids’s name on it, just sayin. The pearl drop earrings are my every day go-tos. They look great with a pair of jeans and just as pretty with a dress.
Ok, now, seriously…isn’t this the ca-yutest necklace ever?!? I bought it for myself for my 25th wedding anniversary to Superman. I mean really….two little lovebirds sitting in the tree…K-I-S-S-I-N-G….with our initials on the heart and the signature pearl?LOVE!
TVP also makes bracelets, rings, and even men’s items.
Friends, I haven’t been paid to gush over these two sites. I just wanted to share. Both of these sites make me happy!
Do you have any cool spots to shop? I love shopping the little guy or gal.
