This is Jack. He’s not mine. (Sad face) He’s the adorable puppy of my friends Pam and Jim.
Some days Pam and Jim have the same work schedule, so this little fella might have to be inside too long. I’m here to let him out to his doggy business.
He is soooo cute that I wanted to send his mommy a selfie. But Jack isn’t into selfies. Have you ever tried to take a selfie with a bundle of cuteness in a 18 week old lab?
He was completely into his toy, whipping it around. I was just trying to keep from getting smacked or licked in the mouth!
It looks like I put him in a choke hold, but it was more of a love hold. Not only was he being a perfect, wiggly puppy, I truly don’t take selfies. So the whole, seeing my face (Yikes!)-getting the two of us in the frame AND trying to push the button! …Whew! Lets just say it was humorous.
At one point, I’m rolled back on the ground, Jack crawls on my stomach and looks at me.
Then finally I got a shot to send to Pam!
My life is a changin right now. My arms really ache to hold a baby. At 6ft. my baby boy is too big for me to cradle. Sam weighs 62 lbs and doesn’t quite fit in my lap. I’ve got a few years to go before I’m a grandmother. But I do look forward to holding babies in the nursery at church. And I have friends with puppies!!! My life is good.
